Has anyone heard of Mirrocles(not sure how to spell it) I bumped into there site the other day and now I cant find it(I tried google) They are a company that have developed micro galvos, they look like a CPU with a little mirror mounted on it, they look like they will soon be replacing traditional galvos all together. MUCH faster scanning= highly complex projection. WOOHOO ;D

I think I've sen something like that... not too long ago either... As soon as I saw it it seemed to me like someone decided to take the idea of a DLP chip and make it available for laser enthusiasts to use... which by the way is a very good idea, especially given the speed and precision of these things!

Well... if you do find it, could you link it here plz? :)

Thank you for posting the link. This is truly the next big thing that laser TV's needed. After this the only thing left is to get blue lasers within reach and you have a fully working RGB laser system that can print anything on any scale at a ridiculously fast speed. Granted this thing is not really all that accurate or affordable yet, but by the time it does become cheap, blue laser diodes should be... :p

Really great piece of kit, just really expensive. For the price of the starter kit you could buy a really nice XY scanner system. Hopefully the prices drop on blue lasers and mirrorcles. I can maybe afford it when im like 100 ;D

Right there with you buddy... We'll be two old clunky fellows and proud of our 'state of the art' technology... "This here was $5000 for one chip back in the day... Kids these days have it easy!" ;) ;D
