The map is great and the work done is appreciated.

However.. as I keep harping- we all need to ALSO add our locations in our Personal Profiles so it appears in all posts.--

btw when I clicked on the usa map and it was showing the entire country I was reminded of a line form 'Jaws' "... we are going to need a bigger boat(map)"

and that is only a small fraction of the active members-if you scroll thru the members list it is easy to see that % speaking those with less than 5 posts outnumber the rest of us >10 to 0ne.

Yeah, I post so much because LPF has taken over my online life and replaced reddit. I have to interact somehow.

Well- you live close to a bunch of great members- more than most of us.
There is a one day/night combo meet in DFW Park with the LED and knife geeks- and you can prolly get a few locals together in somebody's garage for a mini LEM--I say
" any LEM of two or more is a good LEM "

here are a few (some are at the 'other' forum) MrWilling- sugeek-OPcom-and more you can find at out Tx group LSLF- you can find them there- but GL with a new discussion and most never did subscribe to after joining LSLF and I could be(might be) giving away free lasers there and nobody would know-- (you better go read my posts at LSLF--)

if you sub a group AND add email notification you will not miss a thing--

It can be hard to find anyone who also speaks 'laser' and sharing photons while never getting asked 'what good are they' is like a breath of fresh air.

WE would be having TEXLEM 2013 if we only had more showing interest-

TEXLEM 2012 in San Antonio was super ( for the first one) and all who attended said they were up for another- but that is pretty much where it ended. All three of us who did all the work( and paid more than our share of $$) to make it happen gave it our all. Tim Walsh has too many shows to run this year and Greg & I alone cannot do all thats needed so-- you can go- find and pay for a venue and I will be there- the others must speak for themselves..
