Marina Del Rey / Inglewood - Looking for the Source of returned green-laser-fire!

So I was in Marina Del Rey, right by the channel, watching the fireworks as usual (the ones coming from the boats on the channel). They were awesome :evil:. After the finale (<-- however that's spelled ), as people were starting to leave, I started occasionally firing my 95mW Green laser across the channel into the sky (carefully avoiding any populated areas, buildings, planes, etc. of course) when suddenly I (and many around me) noticed RETURN FIRE of a seemingly equal-powered green laser!

This is a first for me, and I had always dreamed of someday having a "laser buddy" across the channel, where I routinely go and shine it at night. I finally got my wish :yh: and hope to be able to find that person again, with hopes that he/she is a member at LPF. The source was from the other side of the channel (the one that separates Marina Del Rey and Inglewood areas) and I was on the Marina Del Rey side.

Here's to hoping we'll find each other and be able to return-fire more often :beer:

P.S. I'm now Google Maps-ing the approximate location in hopes of refining my information regarding the source

Can't help you in your quest but at our town's show, someone had a low powered green. I was wishing so bad right then I had all the parts for my 445nm build. I definitely would've brought it to the show.

Hope you find the person cause thats awesome! People are going crazy here with fireworks and I took out my 532 / 445 and some guy from a 1/4 mile away yells, "hey thats illegal!!" It was great, I could tell they liked it

I've figuratively came in pants at least six times now, just from the excitement...

I've been waiting almost two years for this day!!! I've never even met a single person with a high-powered laser before IRL, let alone in my favorite place to shine it (the Marina Del Rey Channel :yh. Poor me :cryyy:

But hey, this could finally be a first! :beer:
