I wanted to start this thread for all the newbies who dont understand the difference on the craftmanship, creativity, custom hosts, power, and most of all how much better the quality these LPF laser builds handmade by builders, you can talk to about any problems or any custom laser you can fix or have built.
I should be grateful for buying those piece of junk china made lasers, because without all the problems, brakes along with shipping problems, I would of never found this site. I purchased lots of china made lasers. The one that i recall the most I purchased a little over $300.00 It was called 473 nm alluminum sky laser. I paid extra for fast shipping waiting unpatiently almost a month i received it. When i first received it, it seemed awsome until the diode stared dimming. I was mad and found this site. Posted a thread on whats wrong and was suprised on how many people here was helping. I ended up purchasing a laser off of one of them for $200.00 it was 445 with dual flex built by eghemus. Now I look back and see the diffferences between LPF and China made lasers.
Everything here is so much better i'm even learning and building my own lasers. Its the best hobby i ever had!

You like those sky lasers, about six months ago you asked me the same question and i sent you the other 473 host, heres the pic. I think I have more. By the way, did you finish what you were going to? :yh: user23031_pic5106_1301854324.jpg

I know, there's something neat about it isn't there? I like the look - it's very streamlined.

I never was able to get that guy up and running. I was trying to use heatsinks I had on hand, but I'll revisit the build with a custom machined heatsink in the near future. I always find laser building to be the best stress release, and that's why I do it. The challenge right now for me, is "accumulation of stuff", which is a stress-producer. I've got a few too many builds on hand, and until I can unclutter a bit of my environment, I'm not letting myself do any more builds ;)
