Unfortunately I already started burning it long before I decided to put everyone's name on it, or at least active users. I may start another later. But if your name isn't on here let me know.
I have a few I need to add that I can remember :)
I'm using my 16x 556mw laser since it's the lowest wavelength I've got so it obviously works the best.

Huh, that's kinda cool! Surprisingly neat job you did of the writing too, can be hard to keep things steady enough sometimes!

Thanks :)
Sadly yours and Grainde's were the ones I was disappointed in :( I'll probably redo them.

Impressive! Your going to be a master at writing with a laser by the time you get done. :gj:

Curious is the(c6) laser getting hot as your writing all those names? Got a empty c6 myself, might have to fill it with 16x?
Also, how long do the batteries hold up before you have to charge them?

I usually only write about 3 names with it then shut it off for about a minute. It surprisingly just gets a tad warm after about 3-4 names depending on how long the name is. It's probably because I'm not pushing it that hard :D the battery life is fantastic on my 16x for some reason, I figured these low MAH LiFePo4's from tenergy would have horrible run times because my 445nm's suck the battery down fast! But if you got an empty c6 than I would def do a 16x. I love mine :) I'm thinking of doing the 12x so I'll have 2 405s

My writing sucks so bad man. Lol not many lefties can write really good :D

A pencil, what's that?

Seriously though, I type everything these days. My writing is getting worse.
That's what I was saying to jerry. My hand writing has progressively gotten worse since I got out of school

I use a mechanical pencil to draw all my 1st design
prototype schematics before I use a Circuit Design
program to save a finished design for my files.
I must go through 150 pencil leads a year.

On the other hand.. anything written for someone
else to read needs to be typed like you.:yh:

Cool, Richie. Not sure how you managed to do that without screwing up. :D And the duty cycle must've made it difficult?

Like Jerry said when it comes to rough work pencil/pen/writing utensil is always best for rough stuff. A lot of my "idea" drawings are done in a notebook (been using whiteboard recently), and then if they have any value they are moved onto some form of digital media. I hardly write anything anymore though unless I have to.

Yea it kinda was, lol I had to keep stopping after a few names to cool down a little, but what you said gives me a good idea. I should use a pencil to outline a name then laser etch it :D

Am I on there? Hehe didn't see
Yup :) it's hard to see cause I didn't get a good picture but you're actually to the bottom left of my name on first picture :)

I got a closer picture so you can see :D I had to burn a line to separate you and Lildutchboy

Haha that's right :)
Thanks Bowtie I was actually sitting looking at it wondering what to do since I got bored of just burning holes. Lol
I may actually redo it with a dedicated LPF stick

Wow, that's some really good news. I've built a dozen or so lasers on my own, never built a 405 yet. Bought one off Lifetime, and have a Sanwu 405 both one heck of a burner! So seeing I have the host and diodes aren't all that expensive? Works for me! :D

Pretty cool:beer:
I would leave it be and wouldn't re write the names..
Its the imperfections that will make worth big bucks in 100 years :)

As your low on lenses be careful about the smoke dusting the lens..

Oh yeah they're actually pretty darn cheap. I think I paid 35 plus shipping from DTR. It's crazy because after owning 3 405s I've noticed that their is one cool thing about Blu rays, they always seem to stay very stable on the LPM. Because my skylasers pen continued to climb once it hit 80mw and kelp climbing slowly and never dropped, I eventually had to turn it off at 89mw because I was reaching 90 sec :( same with my 16x. Is it the same for your purples? Or at least a majority of them.

Earlier when I said 2 405s I meant 3 lol I forgot about the skylasers pen :p
