How many threads are you going to make for this one heatsink/host combination? Haven't you already made at least 3? :p Although I like it more and more with every thread. Maybe it's time to get out the old drill press and try this myself.

It looks awesome. The one thing I would want changed about it if I had it would be the host plastic. Would be nice to have aluminum or brass. Possibly steel. Aluminum would be best for heat transfer, but it looks like you got that taken care of lol.

(It is plastic, right?)

Something tells me he's not going to have a heat transfer problem lol. The i7 heatsink he's using is designed to dissipate at least 70 watts if not more.. and he'd be putting.. 6 watts max into it even overdriving a 445. ;)

A bigger problem would be the fan cutting severely into the battery life.

You should really also stick to one thread.
