Looking for a good deal on a good laser.

I've been doing a ton of reading on this site. I hear so many good things and bad things about all the different companies selling lasers. I was almost about to buy from lazerers.com But heard some of them are under spec some over. A lot of shipping complaints.
To be honest I don't mind spending the extra money I just want something that I know I will be happy with. I'm not looking to spend over $200 but I want a nice solid build laser that will last me a few years. Seems very risky to buy online. I would be more than happy to buy locally (lansing, Mi). Find someone who knows a little more about these things than I do.
Any help would be appreciated. Hate so sound like I didn't do my reading but it's just tough finding a reputable dealer.
