FYI, you are going to want, make that NEED to change that to kasio or ka$io......we cant use the real name here because their lawyers get all mad and have already threatened LPF once.

Hmm, last I heard its not against the law to list a Name and part number. And I already know about all that drama.

Regardless of what you think about the legality of it, the administrators/mods have requested it not be posted.

I believe Ka$io shook the legal stick at Cold because people on the forums used their name; it would be best to leave their name out, or obfuscate it.

Nice list though, maybe you should add the type of diodes that are in them as well :)

Hi guys, I'm new here (but you already knew that)! I am looking to build my first laser and naturally I found myself needing a cheap diode, so among the hundreds of questions that I have had, can someone PM me a list of a few projectors with a 473nm diode in them? I promise I'm not a lawyer, and I'll delete the PM after I scribble some notes down, I just want to know where I can find this diode. I plan on going to an auction for a broken projector and buying it just for the diode - if the price is right. Other than projectors, can anyone recommend other sources or sites for a 473nm diode? If the price isn't right I will have to go with a 445nm/450nm diode. This will be my first build. I have been hanging around the forums for a few days now, reading, and I have come across some information, but not everything. Thanks for your help.

473nm is a DPSS thus you wont find a diode and if you do you better take a loan out. your first build i suggest you do a ton of research prior to starting since it is VERY easy to fry a diode or driver or both.
