I was wondering if there has been a thread on this, if not (is there a reason/legal?) then this could be it.

As far as i know:
C@5io XJ-A140
C@5io XJ-M140

I'm assuming the others with similar model numbers?(m150/m250 and such).
The other reason i say this is i'm looking to get one and do a teardown and i just wanted to be sure that i don't buy a brick...

Say Ka5i0 not the actual name, it get's flagged by the search engine and upsets them, and we don't want them upset.

Replace the word c@sio with this. The name is sort of copyrighted.

Yes there's a legal reason, it's allowed in the Veterans section because it's not public and isn't indexed by search engines. You should quickly edit your post and use ca$10 or some such thing like suggested above.

I don't really think there needs to be a thread on this when there are threads on every projector, both in the vets section and at PL.

Both the things you listed have static sensitive parts and they are old hat, I don't even want any more of them, if I did it is a better deal to buy loose diodes, just do the math and you will see, it's not worth it.

The better diodes that replaced the ones you listed are available BRAND NEW and not as pulled parts, so unless you plan to use all the diodes yourself intact in their factory fixture there is no reason, it's a waste of money and a ton of others are right now trying to sell off old pulls at a discount.

Most of the new stuff is not even coming out of units except 1 and you will likely destroy it trying to cut it apart, also it has a sister diode with better divergence.

Unless you have money to burn and just want to tear something apart it wont be worth it but if you are curious then look at a sellers page's and search all the part numbers, you can often find pics of the guts and that's interesting.

Yeah this was before those two bought their projectors and started selling the diodes.
