Hi wiscmarine,

You need to use a brand new microfiber cloth that is free from your hand moisture and AR lens cleaning fluid.

You can normally get these as a pack from any opticians or sunglasses store for a cpuple of pounds or dollars.

Put a little AR fluid on one end of the cloth and very gently rub it on the lens...VERY GENTLY in a straight line(not circular) movement as any residue dirt may be on the lens and you might push this dirt hard against the lens making it worse...so be very very gentle at all times. The AR fluid should soften the dirt and then remove it.
Still being very gentle, then use a dry end of your cloth to dry the lens....again, I tend to stroke the lens in a flowing straight line movement at all times....I never clean in a circular movement as bits of dirt might stay on the lens scratching it......so gently rub the cloth over it in a straight, flowing swipe. And that's it.

Cleaning a laser lens takes time and patience and if you do as I suggest your lens should be as good as new with no marks.

Oh remember to remove the batteries from the laser before you clean just in case.....good luck ;)
