hey LPF,
Just another project I've had in the works for the last couple weeks
i guess you could call him a host. I was careful to do all the welding first in fear that the ground could arc through the diode. The laser module can rotate and look up and down. it has one 405nm and two 650nm from Aixiz, the powers are 20mw and 5mw respectively.
The "eye" is a 10mm LED with a magnifier from staples. this LM317 circuit powers the LED but is in parallel with the lasers which have their own drives inside the module. The battery pack is just four AAs. I left the wire harness off and still need to superglue those connections.
lets fire up the little fella Ive named Waldron :yh:
the pattern is a triangle but for those of you who play Call of Duty i would call it predator :san:
last picture. originally i wanted to mount an aluminum block on his shoulder and put on one of those 9mm 445 big boys BUT to be on the safe side i went with light power because i never know who the gallery sells too. been a fun project!
cya!
