Looks pretty sweet!!! Is that part they are in the quadcore or something you made? I cannot see where the modules are affixed.

Are you just connecting them to the original LED headers on the PCB?

These little quadcopters have a button on the back left of the transmitter that can trigger extra addon modules, if you look at the PCB it has headers for sprayers/winches etc. You could use one of these to switch a laser on and off, say a higher powered one. Alternatively the 2nd button on the right of the LCD screen turns the LED's on and off if you have the lasers connected to the LED plugs.

No they are just wired into the battery plug harness so when you plug the battery in they come on.
That would be great if I could figure out how to do what you're talking about.

That's a different FC board than Things was talking about I think. If it did have switchable outputs it would be one of the two pin headers unpopulated on the board.

Yeah my controller don't have any extra buttons on it either.:cryyy:

Hmm yeah, seems to be quite different, even though everything else is identical.

Nice job!

Funny, I have a quad with the same exact "cockpit" labelled as v959. It has a small camera (not FPV, but still cool). Might be the same one Things posted, but it's been a while since I looked at the PCB. I could probably use the camera connector to switch a laser on and off.

Yeah this is not the stock body. I bought 2 of these body's on eBay, they were like $1.60 each.
I love these little quads because they are so cheap and fun.

Yeah, they're the best toys around for < $50. I want to buy/build a "real" quad eventually for FPV.
