Sure, it's bad. We're in agreement on that. I'm just disputing those statistics.

What you've said is that one in five American males have paid for sex with a girl under the age of sixteen. I refuse to believe that.


The rest of it we're totally in agreement on. Manipulating of women is bad, sure, i agree with that. And, actually, here's a part we disagree on. The industry is bad, but i'm of the opinion that the practice isn't, in itsself, wrong. Just the probable consequences.

I do find the statistic to be out of line, but maybe he means sex with underage girls, but not paid for.

I mean let's face it, most of us (statistically) have had sex before we were 18. Therefore technically there are A LOT of guys out there who have had sex with a girl before she was 18.

Question is, is it still an issue if you were also under 18 at the time?

If you do some research the average "Starting" age for Prostitutes are 11-13 years old. And You'll see that they are having to resort to kidnapping and other tactics to fill up there "Product" just to keep up with all the sick men who pay for it.

So Do the math, most men are having sex with under age girls if they Know it or Not....

Theses are Forced little Girls(as young as 9 years old) made to be prostitutes. It's not talking about even under age sex (like you just mentioned) , it's just talking about men paying to have sex with prostitutes


and the statistics that the Average age prostitutes are forced to start at is 11-13 and then the statistic that 30% of men over 30 have "Admitted" to using prostitutes. That is probably really at Least 40% if 30% admitted it.

And you have to think about that most people don't want to just open up and tell these "Studies" there personal information especially if they were forced gang raped at a young age so the % have to be slightly higher due to that fact. No one would make this stuff up but a lot wouldn't want to talk about it, so we can trust the numbers in the statistics are a minimum and they only could go up.

Nope. Still not buying it. Age of starting is 12-14, let's call it 13. Age of finishing... well, is there one? probably varies a lot. For half the prostitutes "on the market" to be underage (i'm assuming under 16) the average age of quitting would have to be 19. Bull! Average quitting age is likely to be late 20s, if that.

Also, you've reduced the number from 40% to 30%. So you've gone from saying that in a sample of 20 American males 4 will have paid for sex with an underage girl, to saying that in a sample of 20 American males over the age of 30, 3 will have paid for sex from an underage girl. Keep your story straight? You can't assume that some aren't telling the truth and in doing so increase the statistic by whatever number takes your fancy.

Also, you've forgotten something. These men didn't admit to "using" prostitutes (implying on a regular basis) they (presumably - although admittedly maybe i'm guessing, i didn't read the whole article) admitted to having used at least one on at least one occasion.

I really think the results are off. I mean I know many men, I'm sure you do as well, can you honestly think of 20+ guys that have had sex with a prostitute.

I haven't had a chance to look at the links you provided, but something seems off. Maybe this is regarding a specific city or county? Just some rough number don't bear this out. I mean US = 300 million. Half or so are male, going off of your statistic over 40 million men use prostitutes in the US? Something is off...

Sadly most of the information i have read is saying the average guy doing this is over 30 & married with kids... Thats really sick when you think about it... you would think if it's a average it would be single men... I Found That Strange...

Honestly back when I worked in construction before I got in the accident I knew a Lot of guys who where into that world on the job sites. It's sick when you read reports after reports. Men are doing it and it's really sick I agree. You'd be surprised whos doing this. At 1st I felt like you guys that this is just to sick but study after study and I have had to except this world is getting worse and with the Internet it's getting sicker and sicker

If the Average are for All prostitutes in the US are starting at 11-13, and the average age of the men are 30 years old and married with kids, And 30% of Men over 30 have admitted to having sex with prostitutes in the US. It doesn't take to much to figure that out. And these are Voluntary Studies So you Have to Take the Fact that most women don't like talking about what they have been "put Through" and most men wont admit they are using prostitutes unless there forced to. So the numbers are at least Slightly Larger than whats being admitted. If you read over all the reports of young girls getting forced into Sex Slavery in the US to Feed the Demand thats There.

Then you have to reason theres a large mass of the male population Funding a Feeding this World. And a Lot of them have had sex with under age girls knowing it or not, because of the fact that the Average Entry age for Prostitution is 11-13. And I can link more studies but if your not going to read them i see no point, how can I make any points if you wont even read the source and just are coming back with "How you Feel About It". In that case we can Agree to disagree
