Their back http://www.laserium.com/

How many of you all got chances to see one of their shows?
I know they they had showing all across the U.S. during 70s early 80s.
During the last 15 years I think they were only showing in San Francisco and Hollywood. San Francisco had it's last show about 7 years ago. I saw Pink Floyd the Wall and Dark side of the Moon. Three times for Dark Side.
San Francisco held theirs at the morison planetarium. Big domes beat the crap out of flat screens.
looks like the laserium in Hollywood is a flat screen. To bad.

404 error on that link. Might be me though..I have a ton of IP's blocked.

I saw the real Floyd in '97 and it blew my mind. I have never seen a bigger laser show to date.

I saw a laserium show at the steinhart in the 80's and it was the dome with reclining seats. It was a lot of fun, but for me the argon/krypton head was be used at only about 150mW max and probably much less. At that time I was expecting to see the beam strongly like the ruby laser in James Bond. >400mW in argon/krypton multiline could be a bit hazardous for casual entertainment, but damn it I wanted it anyway. :D
