I'm sorry kind sir, but I did what most people on the internet would do. I "lol'd" (I hope I got that right). If you've had a tattoo that's been painful to look at for 1 year, surely you can wait a few more days?

Take a knife to yourself? why, that's one of the sillier things I've heard someone say. the pigment of a tattoo goes rather deep so unless you wish to cause quite a bit of harm to yourself, I recommend you stay away from sharp objects.

Take care, and quit glancing at that tattoo!

^ Weeks, is the more realistic time you can get for take off a tattoo ..... and, just as example, the attached pic is an example of that what can happen when someone not expert try to remove a tattoo "DIY style" ..... (sorry, but this is the less bloody pic i've found, about this ..... there are others, but i don't intend to post them on this forum, cause they are really worse)

This thread is full of fail. WOW. Save up some money and get it removed when you start thinking correctly.

I would also join the "Don't fukkin' do it!" group here. Imagine the regret you're going through now (because of tattoo) being 3x worse little bit after (because of laser).

We discuss blue light hazards from "indirect" exposure to it, and wear safety goggles for all other hazards too because, it's dangerous. You can do more harm than done.

However that's painfully clear by now. What I am really interested in, is the reason why it needs to be removed? I know I'm nosy :D

As above, i'm with Eudaimonium (a nosey bastard). I'm going with the Valentines' day idea.

You could use a belt sander over the spot and say you fell over and grazed it. Or you could get a tattoo of "CENSORED" over the top. Telling us where the tattoo is would help. For example, if it's on an extremity you could use a saw and it'd be fine. If it's on your forehead, say, you could use a chisel and that might remove it. If you really want to use laser, try a 200W CO2. That'd work! :D:D:D

Whatever you do, DEFINITELY post how it goes!! :D

I am sorry to hear about such unfortunate events, man :(

Well, tattoo is actually, when one thinks about it, least of worries, is it not?

Easy to deal with, compared to other stuff happening around us.

Stop ! To try to fix that by your on is stupid and at the end you get a inflammation and a ugly scar. You will hate the result even more. Yust get a cover up Tattoo with a design you will still like in a few years.
And please, to save major events in your life, use a diary not your skin.

You have to remember there are two sides to every story. We've only heard one. Not nearly enough to make any kind of objective judgement about anyone. I'm not saying the side we've been told isn't true, but without a reference, like I said, there's not enough data to render judgement. Plus it's not really any of our business anyway.

That's true, I just tend to side with those who love lasers I guess
