Laser Order + Accessories [Pic Heavy]

Just got my package from Sanwu in today, it took 10 days from order placed to my mailbox. Very good for coming from the other side of the world! Especially to Canada, mail always seems to get here excruciatingly slower than most other place. In the USA a standard eBay purchase from China will take around 3 weeks from what I've heard, but the standard around here is 2-3 months.

Anyway, I placed the order with Sanwu's new site: www.sanwulasers.com

My order:

-445nm 500mW Pocket Series Laser
-Laser Tripod
-G7 lens w/holder and O-Ring
-Laser Effect Caps w/adapter

As always, expect top notch quality from this company! Guaranteed delivery, and a lot of thought goes into their products. The star caps are metal, and the adapter is really need. It attaches straight to a diode, I'll cover that after the pics:

Pocket Series Laser:

This thing is tiny!

The whole thing is modular, this would be very easy to repair if you say dented the host or busted the module, Podo would be able to send you what you need.

Pattern caps:

Cool item, and great value at $4 for the set. So this adapter is really interesting, it's a 9mm standard lens thread and then an adapter for the threading used for the pattern caps. It's got some kinda collimating lens in it, unsure if acrylic or glass, but it's testing and works placed directly in front of the diode w/ the caps.

Laser Tripod

I really like this tripod, and have been needing this for a while. It's three legs can fold in, and the main shaft can be telescopically extended/retracted. It can also tilt up and down, and turn left and right. The clamp(s) can be easily accepting of any laser, even with a side switch it can be used to hold it down. It's a bit rough though, it'd be nice if there were some sort of padding in it, it's just made of plastic.

G7 Lens:

Saved the best for last, was really excited to get this lens. I like sanwu's brass holder for it, and there's no flaws or markings on the lens. Includes an O-ring too, I'm guessing thats for either a focus ring or smooth rotation of the lens when focusing

Nice review! I would give you some reputation but I must spread it around first. How much splash is visible with the G7 lens?

Not exactly a review - thanks though :p

Though I didn't test the one I received yet, the one in my silver series is okay - Very unnoticeable splash, and the little amount that there is it's smooth and not rough or rigid.

I love those G7's, the 9mm lens spring fits the shoulder too, so you can use the large lens spring with it, on a nubm44 it's a good compromise between the 3 element and G2.
