Find a little known tribe in some place like New Zealand or Polynesia, people that have rarely been visited by the outside... (but they can speak english from occasional visits by missionaries, the World Health Organization, etc) ...

... Turn on your laser and point it at the sky, and proclaim THAT YOU ARE A GOD!!!!! (and they should give you all of their money... in which case you will receive lots of pigs, chickens, cows... )

When I introduce my friends to my 5mw green pen, I tell them it can cut metal. Then point it at their legs/hands to see if they're paying attention.
