laser tattooing ? ? ?

has anyone tryed to give them selfs a "laser tattoo" before ?
no, am not going to try this but am sure i read it on here that some one did and posted a picture of it up. am guessing it would hurt and be more like a branding them anything else. if they did would it be good for your skin ie would cause problems in later lfe, cancer or just turn ugly ?

Probably cancer if it goes wrong. It'd be like a bad sunburn on a tiny spot. Besides, all that'd be left is a scar- not a proper darkened tattoo.

Yobresal's tattoo is one of the laser warning symbol, done with ink, not a 445.

mikeeey did it (I think I got the right # of e's) did it with a 6x br, he gave himself a nice little 'LOL' on his arm. Said it didn't really hurt and you can't really see it anymore, it's been awhile since he's done it.

Edit: @cancer, you're not in danger from cancer with anything an average hobbyist would have access to.

I'm pretty sure it's much more painfull than normal tattoo (never took a tatoo so I'm just guessing), I can't imagine you holding over a 2 seconds while a 1W (for example 445nm) is focused into your skin, no, you won't stand that, unimaginable pain and I can confirm that.
