These are just a few that I found in a quick SEARCH of the forums. Along with these there are many Very well done reviews of almost all internet available laser pointers, etc.
I think that there are just a bunch of lazy people out there that can't seem to do even a small amount of research before just asking 'mom and dad which lego set they should get'. Really for most(not all) of these post, if a person is not ready to make a big decision on which laser to buy, perhaps they should not own one to start with.
Most questions of quality, power output, company reliability, shipping troubles, and all this are in a thread somewhere here.
