You'll want to stay away from that one on ebay. it's a pile of steaming dung. it's calibrated for a specific laser wavelength and you have to multiply or divide each wavelength for each test. Say you want to measure green, fire it up read it and divide the end result by .23 or something along those lines. it's truly worthless. Not even very accurate. You can see a review and a movie of my laser power meters here.

Shameless plug! I really am very proud of these meters and with the added DMM for graphing capability it's a great buy. Compare this to $1,500 for something comperable.

Hey its cheap, and i'd be willing to take the plunge to see if its any good or not. Plus the seller includes the formulas for calculating the actual output for whatever wavelength. Whats the big deal using a couple formulas to figure out the output, and even if its not that accurate, its a few hundred bucks cheaper than most power meters.

OK, your money. I've already shelled out the $$ for that pile of #$%& and wont' endorse it in any way shape or form. You'd be better off buying a green led ($.25) and shining your laser into it cause your going to get about as accurate of a reading from the led as you will from this. accuracy is the key here. if it aint accurate what's the point.

I have.  and was treated badly by the seller when I questioned his stupid little pile.
I'll forever have negative feedback from him on ebay because I left a neutral for him.

oh, why didn't you say so earlier? We all know this is an expensive hobby, and at this point, im not willing to shell out hundreds of dollars for a power meter and i dont have the skills to make my own. Thanks for the advice though. Just out of curiosity, how accurate was it? like compared to your meters.
