I don't really know how to tell you this, but it just doesn't happen, it's a fact. From the "sun laser" thread:

Sun light is not coherent. :p It simple can not be turn into a laser like
that. We've been through this before.

I've burnt three compact cameras this way, so with your ultra-cool DSLR you should be extremely careful when pointing a laser anywhere in the camera direction. In case of shooting a laser dot, your camera is quite safe I think, however I would not take a macro pic of a 400mW laser's dot on a white surface ;)

The great thing about SLR's is, if the camera isn't taking a picture, the beam goes right through the lens and out the eyepiece.

I will definitely be wearing goggles while photographing. And while filming or live-view the mirror will go up and expose the sensor.

In general, i'd recommend using your old/previous camera on lasers.

It only takes a minor mistake to ruin a camera, or an eye for that matter!

OK, never mind :p

Unless you have a live view or you're making a video. But even if you're using older DSLR without such sophisticated functions, if the laser light is strong enough it can damage the groundglass I think.

Laser photography is what I like to do. Here are some shots taken in my studio with my Nikon D3.
