Laser options for the puppy.

Hello,

I have an awesome black lab puppy who is much more of a laser fanatic than I am. He can chase the little red dot for hours. I have a couple questions about taking play time to the next level.

1.) All I have currently is a $4 laser pointer from the pet shop. Are there affordable lasers out there that will increase visibility (esp. during the day) and not burn my puppy's eyes?

2.) Is there a laser or something that the laser can attach to that will move it hands free or even remotely?

1) your puppy can see the red dot a lot better than you
can. You should treat the Laser safely precautions for your
puppy just the same as for humans.
No Laser Safety Goggles/Glasses = <5mW of Laser Power.
And no shining of beam into eyes.

2) I have seen some Pet automatic Laser movement apparatus
somewhere on the net before. Do a Google search.
The other option is to build something that will do what you want.
Again do a Google search for similar circuits and/or projects.
