Laser not working! what can i do?

Please help, i've an O-Like 200mw focusable laser that i bought a few years ago & now it don't work, it was ok yesterday! I can hear a noise inside when i shake it!

What should i do? i can't seem to get into the main bit, it seems there are no ways in!

Help appreciated

Is it a Green laser.?

If you here something rattling it could be anything without more info about your pointer.

More times then not its usual the crystal that came off.

More info please.

Ahh, I have owned 2 green lasers and they both have broke same thing, something rattling WL said it was the crystal. Sorry dude. It might be something else try opening it

Point away from your face, put a thin piece of paper over the aperture, and turn it on. See if there is a slight pinkish glow.

If there is, means the ir diode is still working, and it's a problem with the crystal.

Hi

Infinitus, i see no glow after i put a sheet of loo roll over the end!

I can't seem to find a way in! Where the focus at the end twists, does it eventually come off? & is the crystal easy to put back on, as it seems that its that i can hear rattling around!

I think the warranty may have run out as i have had it over 6 months!

I spoke to Suzi at O-like & she said to send it back but wouldn't give me address!

Is there a way into this model, as i can't find one!

I see no way, so how was it made.. Very strange!
