i was searching around looking for a good site as a source for a science fair project i HAVE to do and i came across this site. http://www.laserfocusworld.com/index.html anyone know if its a legit site for info and news?

Heck yes. That site/industry magazine has been around for many years - when I worked at that laser machine shop they had lots of back issues of LFW in their reference library. I used to read thru 'em sometimes during lunch breaks.

Sams laser FAQ will be the absolute BEST resource for hobby/DIY reference. I cant tell you how many times this faq has solved my problem or pointed me in the right direction. If you really want to learn lasers, any kind, this is the place to look.
