Laser helps find ethernet cable dropped in wall

one of the ethernet cable jacks in my room recently became messed up. i accidently ended up dropping the cable somewhere behind the wall in my room when working on the jack. it was really dark and i couldn't see the cable anywhere, and i was too lazy to get a flashlight so i used the 8mw green laser that senkat gave me to illuminate the inside of the wall. i quickly found the cable and BeautySoulQueen was able to reach it with a clothes hanger. there was a ton of dust inside the wall; the green light really made it show.

just thought i'd share this random story of how my laser was able to help me

I use lasers in my job to point to products on the ailes. Saves me having to walk all over the store to show people what they are looking for.

In my business, I use a laser to point out (with a slide and compass) the view from the camera's and what I'm going to see in the camera's once they are hooked up. I use this to point out to a customer the field of view that the camera will show. 60 degree viewing angle is this (point) This way a customer can get an idea if something is going to be viewed in the camera off to the side without having to set up the camera and view it.
