I've heard of people just mounting a panel of IR leds pointing at the camera which will blind it without doing any damage or breaking any laws. Lasers can destroy the camera but then you might get in trouble for that.

Install a Camera or a few in an obviously visible location
and point it at your video stalker's residence...

Please do explain. What was your kid doing to get threatened? How did he threaten your kid? And how did the situation with the police go?
Be honest. We may be able to actually help if your completely honest.

a laser from that distance wont blow out a camera but he has no right to shoot a camera on your property, im pretty sure you can call someone and get the camera removed in a situation like this.

^ Im workin on letting him know what he should do. The fact that the guy threatened his kid is a big negative(positive for getting the cameras removed) and im trying to get more info to see if this guy is facing harassment charges.

hmm.. pretty sure any home owner can mount all the cameras he wants and point them where he pleases- I have some that are aimed across my driveway and my neihbors house is right there-& if he came over and told me to move them i would say 'get lost' if he did something to damage them i would file charges- you can no more do that than take a bat and smash one- its not your 'right' to do so.

HOWEVER if he is some kind of child pred. perve that is WAY different.

There must be a better way to solve this then yet another stoopid laser incident.

plz leave lasers out of this-

he lived there first- right?? you can move..

Plant high think bushes around the walkway in front of your house - he cant get mad at you for that..
If you wanna give him a non-verbal "F-U" then point your own camera at him, along with High power IR LEDs.
If you use this, or this, you can see everything and he can see nothing. Like shining a flashlight into your friends eyes - he goes blind while you get to watch him and laugh :}

heres just a simple idea, buy a 1mW laser green. Tape the button down and point it at the camera. I have no idea how long it will last but its worth a shot if you got nothing else to try

Like it's been posted, install a bunch of IR lights so it blinds the camera! Or simply go from behind and do what you have to do to protect your kid. As long as there's no proof, nothing can be done to you by law. :angel:

You can have a 4W+ handheld IR laser, which will DESTROY the camera. :P
