Euh, you have posted in the wrong section. I appreciate your work but maybe the mods can move the thread.

Why is this in the trades feedback + dispute resolution forum? It's useless here and will eventually disappear because it's not in a forum where people will seek it out.

Why not ?? you can give feeback about the above mentioned companies ?? you mean this forum only have lazy people ??
Well, i think newcomers needs to know where to buy all that stuff..
And on the forums they can learn a lot about everything what they need to know about lasers. So they can put lasers or what else together with some help of other peoples. ;) i think it's the good section for it.. maybe i'm a little bit dumb or i don't understand what
section this is because i'm coming from the Netherlands.
Where should you place it ?? what section ?? please tell me :)
Thank you very much

Hi,

I'm new to building lasers. I'm working on an art project that will use diffracted beams (5mw) from green, violet, and red lasers.

I want to have the lasers be constantly powered, but have read that doing so on inexpensive modules might kill the diode, or greatly dim the effect of the lasers over time as the diode heats up.

1) Is this true?
2) If so, is there an inexpensive method to cool the modules?
3) If I am using clusters of 3 (1 green, 1 violet, and 1 red) modules, are there better mobile power sources than AAA batteries? 9v?
4) Is there a better thread than this to learn what I need to know?

I would greatly appreciate any insights.

Thanks,
Mike

The downtown has changed considerably.

WHAT !!!:thinking::thinking:

You will need to check the Date if the last post so that
you can avoid getting some of these [
reputation_neg.gif
reputation_neg.gif
] for Necroposting...

Necroposting = bringing old threads back to life....

If you had some relevant information to add to the
Thread that would be fine.

remove "laserpointerpro" from that list. just take a look at their products and prices, they are a total scam. sory about posting on an old thread but that is not a company you should be steering people too.
