I purchased a 500mW laser online. Indicated it comes with battery charger. Of course when it gets delivered there is no battery charger included and the sticker on the laser only says 300mW. Apparently they are sending wrong strength lasers, which is a real pain because then it will take months to get it right going back and forth from China. Am I allowed to indicate the company I bought it from?

that is rather unfortunate, I just ordered something from DinoDirect I know they are a shady dealer but my laser i ordered was only 18 bucks, but thats nothing to a 500mw .
It almost was Dino Direct, but I went with Mostbuying.com , and I also have one on order with Wickedlasers. I have to get a hold of a cheap laser power meter. I don't want to get ripped off.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your chances on not getting ripped off are somewhat like my chances of winning the lottery.
The company you ordered from looks like a standard yall inc dropshipping clone... there are many of them, and their lasers are usually crap.
Wicked lasers has a well deserved terrible reputation - some of the hosts are cool, but overall they are a complete ripoff and often take months and month to even ship the order.
Don't bother exchanging the laser you have. Chances are you won't get anything better. You may want to return it instead if you can, and buy from a more reputable company.
For the wicked lasers order... see if you can cancel it.
I am sorry I ordered from Wickedlasers. The only reason why I ordered from there is they specifically said their 1W arctic laser was in stock. I hope I don't have to wait months. I did read on their forum that lots of people have been waiting many months for a shipment that they already paid for.

You could get a lot better deals buying off this forum. Wicked lasers will run with your money, they will either send the product in a couple months and its the right product (You should consider yourself lucky). Or just never send it, or even send the wrong product. By the way, did you make sure to buy the right laser goggles?

The green laser I got from mostbuying came with cheap plastic glasses but they do work. When I turn on the green laser I just barely see the green dot. Can't see the beam or reflections at all.
Can someone point me in the right direction to get a good deal on a laser with a reputable company? I see 1000W lasers for $1000 at some online places and that is too expensive for me. Another reason why I ordered from Wickedlasers. Their 1W blue laser is only $299. I'm very new to this, so I'm bound to make mistakes and I have already!

i highly recommend putting a thread in the buy/sell section on the main page, its down a bit. I am a so called Nube when it comes to this site and also to lasers, i do most of my research on here and learned alot, everyone here are extremely friendly and wont rip you off, i just ordered my 150mw from a member on here, just make sure they have high rep and really good feed back, 9/10 people on here will not rip anyone off. also you dont have to wait 3-4 weeks
