Try re-listing it as a crack pipe.
Make sure you're clear that "no crack is included"...

Re: Kryton EBAY BS!!!

Kenom,
I can tell you from experience that once items have been removed like yours (and mine) they watch you like a Hawk and will do everything in their power to remove your other listings. To give you some background, I have been registered on eBay for over a decade with 1443 100% positive feedback points buying and selling coins, stamps, lasers, and Americana with some items exceeding $100,000 each. Now you would think eBay would want to keep me happy, they don't. I had ad's pulled for lasers (scientific and homemade) that COMPLIED with their policies to the letter. Others were pulled because I forgot to remove we accept checks and money orders. Recently eBay had banned everything but PayPal (which they own) so they can collect the other 5% to 7% from the sale. Why? Their primary business profits were down due to the economy and they have to meet investors GREED somehow. But the item that angered my wife and I most was the Canadian coins. For years we purchased ICCS certified Canadian coins. In fact our purchases exceeded $100K. Lately we decided to sell some to get extra money and trim our collections. I put over 30 ad's on eBay proudly showing the certification by ICCS. eBay pulled every ad within two days and threatened to terminate our membership for selling ICCS coins. It seems eBay decided that ICCS was not a legitimate certification agency and banned their coins from their site. Needless to say, I wrote many letters only to have them fall on deaf ears. Most of the letters we received were useless form letters. However, I was mad enough that they let us and many other folks buy enormous amounts of ICCS certified coins I called my attorney and had him write them a letter. That did get their attention (along with other folks) and eBay now allows companies that register in Canada to list ICCS coins. However, to this day I still have to list ICCS coins as uncertified as I live in Texas and not Canada. All this needless crap has left us with a Poor rating for compliance to their policies, but we really couldn't care less. Their latest attacks are aimed at folks who use PayPal on the GunBroker website. If they identify a transaction as one for a firearm, they will deny the transaction and have in some instances cancelled the PayPal account of the seller and THEIR eBay account if they have one. I am sure laser purchases will be next. The moral of this story is PLEASE BE CAREFUL using eBay or PayPal for anything that might be a little different (especially lasers). Even if you comply with their rules to the letter, they will tell you they are subject to change on a whim especially if they don't like your product. I do sympathize with your plight and am sorry you encountered their narrow minded and foolish thinking. We can only hope that someday soon someone will start a competing website that will be more inclusive of everyone. God Bless!

This is the only action that will get any attention from a large, arrogant, stupid corporation. Lawyers, and the often accompanying threat of media exposure are the only thing that works. These types of useless corporations just don't care about customer service, the truth, reality, or anything else. I've never sold anything on ebay and never will.

Re: Kryton EBAY BS!!!

Same has been happening to me while trying to sell my PSP. Apparently putting a custom faceplate on it is copyright infringement ::) :p I didn't say anything about it having custom firmware either. In fact, saying it DOESNT have cfw makes it get deleted faster because of the keywords being there ::)

It seems they are like the government... you need to make the same
argument 3 or more times before they hear or understand it...
(shaking head)
At least you got through to them...
