Got my diode today and my module, and as I was thinking about how I was going to put the diode into the module, I realized he already did it for me ;D

Sweet, I should be a proud owner of a high powered laser that much faster :D

heh yup....well, unless you kill the diode.....
my big thing was not knowing to short out the capacitor before i soldered the diode to the driver.....i could of saved alot of diodes if only i had known :'(

touch the + and - that goes to the diode to discharge the capacitor. if you dont the capacitor will hold a charge. since a diode has no internal resistance the sudden surge will blow your diode....

Do you mean touch the pins? and with what? My fingers? lol, Didn't completely understand..

...Connect the positive and negative OUTPUT on the driver with a wire. When you are changing diodes, it is extremely important that you do this.
