I got these goggles for my 250mW red laser and yes they do the job but it blocks the beam out completely and the dot. I can feel Safe while wearing them but they are pretty useless for seeing the laser. Look on my signature I have a 300mW red laser review, there is a video on the thread. To the end of the video I show the glasses working.

Again, wow... but then too much protection is better than none!

The ones from DL are fine, but IIRC the problem I had with them is they tack on a large shipping charge... so they actually come out to be the same as similar ones from survival.

Edit:For me the price is a follows: Total:
US$47.99 (Euro 34.07)

Considering the ones from survival laser are only a couple dollars more, I'd go with them, since they ship from the US and will get to you faster:
Eagle Pair® 190-470nm & 660-760nm Laser Safety Goggles

Double Edit: IIRC there is a coupon code for LPF members to use on survival lasers... gonna have to hunt it down yourself though, I don't remember what it is:p

I found the survival discount ;) Can't wait to order them! As I will be ordering blue an violet lasers as well later (green can wait) these will be perfect as I wont need to order a different set of goggles per laser. Thanks for pointing these out, you're a life-saver (or money saver) ;)

Quick question (again), bear in mind I live in the UK, what happens if I'm not home to take the package when they deliver? Does a card come through the letter box and the package just goes to my local post office (so I take the card to the post office to pick it up)? I only ask because on a general day absolutely nobody is home :undecided: ...

Many parcel carriers leave the package at the door. If you don't think that is safe you can tape a note to your door saying not to, and then they will leave a slip (usually). If you know what carrier you can call them and request that the package be held for pickup.

I thought that was just an American mail thing? My house is on a main road, with a shop opposite so there's lots of people with the open choice to take my laser if they just simply leave it... :cryyy:

Yeah, it makes me nervous too. Maybe it's different where you live.. you can always call them and ask them what they will do.

I don't know about the UK but in the US, for me at least, if the international mail is with tracking, it's never left at the door. I get a notice and have to pick it up from the post office.

Eagle Pairs are probably the most affordable you're going to get (Without having to have it take a month to be shipped from china)

They're fairly well made and do the job well.

Dragon Lasers glasses are the best quality, you made a good choice purchasing from Lazerer, i have heard a lot of good reviews about them. A 200mw red laser is a good starting laser, i have a 200mw red dilda laser (measured around 180mw) and its very good for burning and I can see the beam in rooms without a lot of lights. Make sure you always wear your glasses for burning things, especially up close.

I've had lasers both require signiture and not (Both with tracking)

For instance. Dragon Lasers when I bought my spartan did require my signiture.
When I ordered from RayFoss some time ago they did not.
I guess it really depends on which company.

I think I'll go with the Eagle Goggles, I hear a LOY of good things about them and sometimes you just have to spend that extra bit! I might get a tripod too once I have my shades, just a cheap tripod will do I suppose. Any suggestions of where I can get a good tripod from for a good price and shipping that doesn't take months?
