the button is on the end of the laser .. but thats not the problem .

the problem is .. the threads on the end of it to screw the cap on for the batterys in only like 2 threads .. and it no longer holds the cap on i have to hold it on .. which is really really annoying.

anyone had any luck in fixing these?

i got it from laserpointerpro like 2-3 years ago .. so returning it is pretty much out of the question

Aside from epoxy really not much.. laser pointer pro has some pretty terrible leasers. You are kind of lucky it lasted this long.

well epoxy is kinda out of the question considering thats my battery housing and my on and off switch ..

maybe strip it down and stick it in a new host?

You could give thread seal tape a try. It might be just enough for it to hold and is a cheap solution if it ends up working.
