its probably becuse those materials have to be in exact spots, and whats more accurate than lasers. otherwise why would they be used so much in surgery, construction, and for lockheed-martin to produce joint strike fighters.

LOL, sorry ..... when i read the title, i thoughd they finally produced a laser pointer that refuse to turn on if you're pointing it in someone's eye .....
