Ice Cream man w/ green laser?

My son is trying to buy a nice green laser pointer from the ice cream man for $60. I was trying it out and it doesnt peek or fade or time. It feels pretty sturdy and comes with some rechargable aaa batteries. I told the guy to come back on tuesday. I think its a nice laser but $60 is a little stiff from an ice cream man. Should i just but my son a nice laser from my friends at dealextreme? Thanks for any help.

That's so random.

The plus side is that you don't have to worry about shipping. The bad side is that you have no idea about quality and stuff. How much power is it?

wtf? thats a bit weird but its also kind of a lot of money if its only a 5mw. If its anything higher powered than that then you might be ok. dealextreme is still the cheapest for a nice working greenie though. they have one for like 16 bucks, idk about the quality but thats the starting price IIRC.

well to be honest I have never seen a pointer brighter then that. I know I'm a noob to lasers. So I'd say the ice mans laser pointer is a 5mw. :-/

No. I ordered it yesterday but everything is backordered for 8 days so i prob wont get my stuff for like 5 weeks.

Print off the DX page of the true 5mw and show it to him, then offer him like 30 bucks or something.

he probably wont go for that, so you may want to print off some prices of lasers at dealextreme like frogger said. make sure to look at the label and see if it says 5mw.
