I want my 1st high powered laser.

Hey, I wanted to purchase my 1st high powered laser.
I want to warn in advance that I over kill everything I do, so I was looking for something in to 2000mw(2w) range. I see all these cheap lasers and I suspect they are so called 2000mw but have a restrictor on them. So I wanted some help on choosing a laser.

The other problem is I live in the US and I know a lot of lasers are confiscated. I have ordered low powered 5mw lasers on eBay that comply with us laws, but I was wondering is there anyway I could get a high powered laser?

i would look around the fourm there are a lot of good cheap laser on here. However when you buy a laser of this power the first thing you should think about is safety glasses.

My main concern is getting it, because I live in the US and i dont want to spend several hundred dollars and get it confiscated.
And secondly getting a good laser.

It says they will send a new on if customs confiscates it?
Or should I request they send it w/o batteries, just in case?

buy from laserbtb.com most that buy from them get them usually, the one you linked you should stay away from, underpowered crap lasers quality too..

Ok i didnt but the one i linked in my OP, but i did purchase the one in my next post, the one advertised on the forum. I will also check out the site you suggested.

I used to be all into lasers when i was younger, and now im getting back into it. So if the laser i just ordered makes it to my house i will likey check into getting another.
