i need some information please guys help me out

hi guys

as you know i am new here and i love lasers as all of us does in here

i have few questions which i cant find the answer to i have searched the forum but no result so i had to ask,
my cousin told me it is illegal in uk to make and experiment with high power lasers,here are few questions that i cant find the answer :thinking:

1: is it illegal to own high power lasers in the uk?

2: is it illegal to make and experiment at home with lasers?

3: is it illegal to sell high power lasers in uk?

4: if i buy a lasers or hosts/parts to make laser will custom seize them?

if they are then what should i do i really love lasers actually anything electronics since the day i was born i was experimenting with electronics :eg:

1. To own, probably not.
2. No, it's not illegal.
3. Probably illegal.
4. No, parts are legal to buy and own, customs will not seize things like heatsinks, modules, drivers, etc,. Only risk, is when you are dealing with complete handheld lasers.

Hopefully someone more familiar specifically with UK laws can help you out more.
