If you take a peek around you could probably find some neat stuff. They will basically have almost anything electronics related you could want at mouser.

Digikey also has a nice selection of 100mA+ tact switches but their site is a lot more difficult to navigate:
http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll

I have heard that digikey charges very little for shipping small quantities of components but have never tried myself.

I only deal with DigiKey for our Research & Development projects....

We are in Quebec Canada... DigiKey is in MN... and if I order something (lets say)
today before 8:00 PM.. I receive my parts the next day by noon...
You can't beat that for $8.00 shipping... :cool:

more difficult? LOL their filters do nothing LOL At the risk of sounding dumb, how does the A break down? is 0.02A  2mA?

Hey Tech_Junkie... you missed the point.... ::)

If you are in a hurry and need something within 16 hours from the USA...
through Customs and Brokers including Brokerage Fees shipped Internationally
to Canada... You can't do better than Digikey...

On the other hand if you're not in a hurry and don't need to ship across
international boarders... and are tight on finances... you can surely get
a single tactile switch shipped in the USA for $1.00... ;)

1mA = 0.001A.

You will have trouble finding a non surface-mount switch from digikey that can take a lot of current but this one seems good and the contacts are large enough to solder easilly.

At some point it may just be too much trouble to find a 100mA tact switch. A 50mA one might survive quite a while since a laser pointer isn't the kind of circuit that would have the switch constantly carrying current so it will have time to cool down.
