Well, is you're boyfriend aware of laser safety?

Don't really want to give you a website if your "boyfriend" is just going to use it to shine it at planes

Hi brika, that's cool! I wish my gf (now wife) was that thoughtful. Your bf is lucky to know you. Luckier if you know the dangers and share the responsibility too. Did you know safety goggles are needed for operating different laser colours? So to help secure his eyesight for X'mas, :san: pls check this out for both your sakes, really : GUIDE TO OWNING LASERS

What if you got him said laser pointer and he blinded you with it? Or he blinded himself, or he blinded a
kid because he doesn't know anything about laser safety? Or what if he "accidentally" shined it on a
plane and that plane crashed into a building and the building collapsed and killed 2,606 people in lower
Manhattan?

Hey, not trying to be a dick here. But you use the word "you're" wrong a lot. Now again it's not a big deal. Although I notice it a lot in your posts and it's kind of annoying.

Buy a 2W 445nm one from the buy/sell/trade section of the forum. Cheaper and more powerful than the arctic. Assuming he knows about laser safety

Stay away from Wicked Lasers. You can get the same product for significantly cheaper (and probably better quality) from the builders on this forum.

If you do get a 445, check out the link for uvex goggles in my signature. They are only $8 each and will work great.

Agreed! WL is way over-priced and most of the time under-spec :yh:
