Gday you lot!

I've been really busy and not been able to jump on irc or work on my laser projects. Helping a friend with a club project (nightclub) so I've been wiring up sound and light gear for the last few weeks, and also been helping a mate out with his turbocharger jet engine project.

On that topic, one of the turbocharges decided to become a shrapnel grenade, landing us both in hospital, I took a nick to the leg that needed 8 stitches, he took one in the shoulder, requiring surgery.

Thankfully I am still fit as a fiddle and able to go up and down ladders hauling lighting gear up into the truss and wiring stuff in confined places. Back to the club today to fire up the new sound system and put it through its paces.

Anyway just thought I'd let you lot know that I am still about, and having been a constant poster on these forums for a little while, didnt want you lot thinking I'd vanished off the face of the earth.

Once the club is operational we'll have 10 lasers, my argon being one of them. I'll be sure to shoot a video on opening night of the show we have planned :)

Cheers
Ben

You got lucky you didn't loose a eye with that flying shrapnel.
The jet sounds like a fun project:)

Glad you are still kicking!
Turning at the speeds a jet's turbine does, it can do some serious damage.
That's why when they test them, they put them way out in a field and stand inside a reinforced "hut"
Every job has it's dangers although, a truck repair shop I used to work at, just had my former boss killed, by a RV rolling forward, off the jack stands.
:wtf:
Try to visit us more often, will 'ya.:yabbmad: LOL
