But I'm still excited! I just Ordered an X-105 with TNT shipping.
I cant wait. I'll probably do a review when I get it and post lots of pictures and videos in comparison to my 5mW. I already have combustible materials ready.

Ordering was a pain in the sphincter... the bank wouldn't let me order because of fraud protection, but that got all cleared up and now I'm just anticipating my new baby.

Well, that's enough of my pointless thread...

pointless thread??? just because we get a few of these threads, doesn't mean it is pointless, especially when we are talking about the X105! Congrats man, you are going to be very happy, and even more exitd when you get it! ;)

Haha I'm sure I will be. I'm just afraid it might get knocked around during shipping and I'll have to RMA. I'm cheap and I didn't get the case. :p I hope we don't have anyone sensitive to insect cruelty... I'm planning on incinerating a couple annoying cockroaches in a... unique way... (lasers and exothermic chemical reactions). I'd already have videos of it if my 5mW would stop being broken and output 50+mW again.


AAAH! TNT shipping and I'm still dying from anticipation of all the fun I could be having!

i'm sure nova would have packaged it up nicely to ship it! hahaha i saw a vid on youtube of someone frying a cockroach, it was a huge portable ir array ;D ;D

Getting ready to take the same "plunge". Great laser/company from all that I`m reading.
Did you order NLs glasses? I`m still undecided on whose glasses to buy.

percboy - if you are putting together a purchase from Nova - go ahead and buy the goggles then ! It is best to have them, and not need them than it is to NOT have them, and need them ! If you are ordering anything above a 5mw from them - you NEED GOGGLES ! :) They are every bit as good as the ones that Wicked sells (one of a TINY handful of decent products from those monkeys) <------no offense to our primate cousins intended, I assure you !

I haven't ordered the glasses yet, I am still undecided on who I want to buy from. I just want some that are cheap and are relatively effective. I don't plan on walking around with them on like sunglasses so I don't care about looks... As long as they're not too ugly. Nes_shades any good?

I believe NES has sold out of his shades...

I have the WL lasershades..and Love them....

A good pair of goggles makes working with your laser not only safer..but it makes a TON more enjoyable!

After seeing the power in my Nova X-105..I had a pair on order immediately!!!

How much are WL shades shipped? And how is the VLT? It would be nice to be able to see.

Yeah tried to buy from NES .. he`s out. Bought the WL shades.
BTW, My order with Nova Laser has said "processing" for 24 hours now.. does this sound typical?
And I had the same "fraud protection" problems to get my order through also . Took about 3 attempts.

the WL shades are $40 + $18 shipping (usd) i was lucky to get free ones when i bought my 35mw from them
