Still having no luck fixing my toggle pin, So I now want to disable my tailcap. I have the housing of the tailcap out, but it is still attach to the key slot. How would I go about disabling the entire tail cap?

EDIT

Looking at it some more, I think I need to solder all 3 wires together(where they attach to toggle slot) and solder the 2 leads that go to key together. Is that right?

sorry for double post but it wouldn't let me add a pic in my original post, I made a pic on paint

I would solder the wires in the green box together and i would solder the parts in the blue box together. would this by pass the tailcaps safety features? My pic is probably wrong anyways

The first test EYE would try is shorting the battery terminal to the case (bypassing the tailcap entirely) and trying to power it on. This should work most (all?) of the time. If it works, try to make the tailcap into a short somehow - use your imagination.

I realized that I made an mistake in my drawing, what I would do is solder the parts in green together and solder only the red and the top black in the blu together , The bottom black is the lead the connects to battery.

Lets see in order to completely bypass mine I think I cut all the wires and put one from the side of the unit, to the center connector. Wedged it in between the threaded nut and the case of teh switch, Hope that helps. I could take pictures if that isn't helpful.
