120mw of green for daylight. Maybe more if the air is not as humid or there arent as many particles in the air. Idk what it would take for red though, probably quite a bit...

ok dude, dont try to switch topics here, right?
2mw red with a red(!) balloon?!?

2mw he-ne (with generally great beams), or was it a LD? sure with the 2mw, measured?
back then i tried damage with a 5mw pointer from china, years ago where they were all new. quite sure it had more than 5mw too. nothing happened on plastics and tape.

how much mw would be needed to pop balloons and light matches with a collimated beam, without focusing? well, greens have a tighter beam, so i expect a quarter of the output is needed compared to reds?

It was a cat toy pointer.. The sticker said 2.00mW.
ALthough the baloon WAS over-infalted,(by ALOT), shariped, and with about 6 magfing glasses...
It did pop though! :D
To bad I cant do it again... I don't have baloons.... :-/ :(
