How long of a duty cycle with this heatsink?

hey guys, i was looking around my hardware store and found this 4" heatsink with a fan attached to it. it was only $10. im wondering how long the duty cycle would be with this. can you guys please help?

Well the duty cycle depends on the diode and the power.
Also that is an awesome hardware store. I don't have anything like that around me.

well im definitely gonna use this heatsink for one of my future 445 builds! @udanis they have much more than just that in my store! :D

I'm pretty sure even with a 445 running @ 1.5A you can run it continuously with that fan.... though I'm not sure how much air those fans move. You should get a good 15-20 minutes out of it assuming that fan doesn't move a lot of air... Pretty much more than you ever will need.

With that and a 445, infinite.

Just make sure you use some good thermal paste and you machine it well.
