i made a driver using the
but i used a 1k pot i know thispart is fine just harder to adjust but i could not find a 10mfd 16v cap so i used a 10uf cap found at radio shack model 272-1013 axial leads 35wvdc max tol +-20% will this work or should i pick something else up? if pick up something else mind tossing me a link to it thanks.

The cap you bought is exactly what you need, it's actually mislabeled in the diagram. The 1K pot will work, but it will be touchy.

I really don't recommend a 1K pot. It's really too hard to control. I've blown out a diode because I've been unable to control the current finely.

I don't think that 1k pot will be a problem as i am running my laser at 250ma no where near its max.
