Susies 100mW modules are $76 IIRC, that's about the only consistant output green deal in that price range (although you'd still need to find a host, $12 through Rayfoss or possibly less here on the BST thread if you don't mind a used one)...

A couple of sites have "200mW" greens for around that amount, but you're rolling the dice and taking a chance of getting 40mW, 80mW, or somewhere in between, save up a few $$ and possibly look at the Rayfoss 200's for around $150, you'll at least end up closer to spec

o-like or rayfoss would be your best 2 choices to buy a cheap green laser. focalprice seems to have some pretty good deals. You may want to check them out as well.

wesdaman14;

I would look at several things for your budget:

1. Solid design for durability & upgradability of the host

2. Adjustable lens if you want burning ability.

3. Ability to upgrade lens assembly for more power.

4. Battery type (I prefer #18650 rechargables)

This style meets all the attributes.

Rayfoss Adjustable 150mw

It is also available in 50mw & 100mw at your price level.

This one I reviewed is a good design, but the lens is harder to upgrade.
