My 75mW multiline was around that price IIRC. Plus it had already been converted to 110V...

The deals are out there, you just have to keep an eye out and be paitent!

The remote can be made fairly easily, there should be schematics for it somewhere.

The fan can also be rigged up, that is what I did

A hose is not entirely necessary, as you can see!

You might want to read up a little about them first though, they are more delicate than a pen laser.

Multiline just means that there is more than one "line" or wavelength combined with the output. Through a prism it will look like this...

But normally all of the beams are perfectly aligned

Multiline argons are usually preferred over single line ones.

Are those the fans out of what I think they are? LOL I was just thinking about hooking up 4 or 6 of them to cool my Argon, instead of the large fan that's on it now. Of course I'd have to find a good 12V PS to run them all. :D

Can any PSU be converted to single phase 110 if enough amps are available? Any good reading for this process?

I believe daguin has a ML ILT for sale that's turnkey for $300

I still have a ML ALC-60x head and a few 488nm 60x's floating around here in the office, but only one working psu, and i'd have to build an umbilical.

However, as long as it's been since any of them have run, they might just be scrap now. But I currently have too many projects to mess with them.
