Why are you opening the Same Identical Thread in different
sections of the Forum...
It is considered SPAMMING and is frowned upon....

If you want to build a Laser start with the provided link and
then read some more...

Hey i'm just saying this but if you don't know anything about lasers. Then I think that you should be doing a lot more research about lasers, before attempting to build one. The first thing is that lasers are NOT toys, and any laser has the potential to cause permanent eye damage from any distance you are from it. You should be reading a lot in the safety section of the forum and doing your research. Also understand and take all safety precautions before building or using a laser.

Have safe and happy lasering, good luck, and have fun!

Never attempt to build anything until you have read the instructions.....twice.
When I first became interested in building a laser, I read all I could on this forum (and Sam's FAQ's) for 6 weeks.
Then ordered the parts, and waited another week. Still reading the whole time.

Building a laser is not like building a model car, parts don't just snap together.
You will need a basic understanding of electronic theory. You will need to know Ohm's law, how a capacitor, a resistor and a diode work, good soldering skills, the right tools and test equipment and so much more.

Start by reading up on the tools and skills you will need to learn, then acquire and learn them. Next read up on, and decide on, what wavelength laser you want. Then what parts you will need...............you get the picture?

Nobody can tell you how to build a laser, the same as no one can tell you how to speak Swahili. You have to learn!! You do that by studying and reading all you can.
Good Luck!!!

^ What he said!! I put in at least 50 hours reading and learning about lasers. It's all here! My very first post was the welcome thread asking about good safety goggles. I'm amazed at how many people just come in here and just ask "can you help me build a laser?" Un-fricken-real :wtf:

If you just want a laser that bad go buy one. If you really want to build one then you will take the time and do your research. :banghead:

Why don't you search out some of JAYROB's builds he always puts up good pictures of his builds if you look at some of them you will get a good idea of what you are up aginst to make your own build.

Sorry, didn't mean to be so harsh, I just couldn't believe you made 3 threads on this. There are a lot of very knowledgeable and helpful members in this forum who will be glad to help you but you have to show some effort on your part and do some research. Follow the links that have been provided, it was where I started. :yh:
