Okay so this is about a completely different thing since I've been getting yelled at for the past couple of days for having too many threads on the same laser so here it is

C132466 Melles Griot 56 CRH / S2745 Laser Diode ( 50mW, 400-405nm) 56CRH/S2745 | eBay

Does anyone know if this would be a good buy? I bought another melles griot like it, I'm wondering if it could possibly use the same controller as the one I just bought

Melles Griot CVI RDF 85 diode 660nm 400mw fiber coupled Laser | eBay

This laser that I'm about to buy for 50 has the same connector on it as the one that I already bought but I'm not sure if it will work with the same voltage or anything on that controller board. Can someone maybe help me find like a manual to it or something? Thank you guys!

This is not a "completely different thing", it's the same laser you've been moaning about for a while. This is getting pretty goofy. Why would you buy another when you clearly have NO idea how to work the first one?

It's a completely different fucking laser you idiots I could care less about the little fucking red bars😂 you people don't help at all this forum is a waste of time unless it's some damn laser pointer that you scavenged off of wicked lasers or eBay. You guys are useless for lab lasers.

The two lasers to which you are referring are very similar products. You do not need a separate thread for each one.

By the way, this forum is actually incredibly useful for lab lasers.
You can check out the later pages of this thread if you'd like to see how the good folks here helped me with my argon.

Good luck getting out of the red! :)

Branson, you have asked about the same, or similar lasers, on multiple different threads. It is usually frowned upon to post a bunch of threads on similar topics and is appreciated if you keep it under one thread. This is to clean up clutter and to prevent the same questions from be asked over and over.

Also around here red bars really do matter. I haven't even had a conversation with you or seen your previous threads till now and the first thing I though of when I saw the red was that you were a troll.

Sometimes the community can be a little tough but not without good reason as there has been an influx of trolls and spammers recently. Once you have proven you aren't a troll or anything like that then this place is overwhelmingly helpful and kind. I have learned a lot here and have only ever had enjoyable experiences.

Lets try and restart this off on the right foot:) Patience is always key:beer:

Well the seller did give me the wiring instructions I'm just not good with wiring at all and I'm not even sure what an hd15 port or wire is, I guess I'll look it up but I really like this laser even though I have no use for it I though it would just be fun to have, he gave me a power supply for it but all the wiring instructions are like a different language to me that's why I was just asking around seeing if it made sense to any one else. But thank you for trying.

Apparently you don't even read the comments in your own threads.

It shows the hd15 port---it is the only port on the controller that has 15 pins which you would know if you ever looked at the controller or the manual.

A person's intelligence and common sense are evidenced by the person's actions.

Please be a little more respectful to us here in future. Just explain in a civilised manner next time. I was going to neg rep you for this statement but I couldn't. So you have been given another chance to correct that attitude.

I bought a used Boeing 747..
The seller gave me the flying instructions I'm just not good with
flying at all and I'm not even sure what a Control Yoke or Altimeter
is, I guess I'll look it up but I really like this Airplane even though I
have no use for it I though it would just be fun to have, he gave
me a barrel of fuel for it but all the flying instructions are like a
different language to me that's why I was just asking around
seeing if it made sense to any one else.:wtf:
