Hey guys im a complete newby and i am really looking forward to creating my first laser pointer. I have a red diode in which i extracted from a dvd burner. i know i know criticize me if you wish. But i need to know which parts i now need to create the laser, i know i need a host, module, driver and so forth but can people get into detail with parts to help me out. It would be appreciated if you could give me exact names of parts which i could order. also can someone recommend protective glasses i really want to be able to see my end project!
