Hi so here's the current situation i'm in. I placed an order for a lzsk "stick" green laser in the 400mw form on 7/12. I was also planning on ordering a lzsk blue laser in 1200 mw. Both from laserer.com. Well almost a month later the green is still processing due to issues with the lasers max had in stock. I have been as patient as possible up to this point but i'm putting a deadline on this friday for the laser to ship.

If it isn't shipped by the end of this week i'm going to get a refund and bring my business to another website.

So here's what i'm looking for, a green laser in the 400-500 mw range for under 300 dollars and a 445nm laser in the 1200-2watt range for around 200 dollars.

I'd like to avoid 0-like if at all possible. I'm also very familiar with buying things through private parties so if you have what i'm looking for PLEASE don't hesitate to send me a link to your sales thread :thanks:

you should post this in the BST thread... make the subject "WTB: 532nm 500mW laser and 445nm 1W+ laser"

I actually tried that! It won't let me post in that thread. I assume it's because I'm a new member.

Have you looked into purchasing a 445 from Gary at Survival Laser? Use the discount code LPF445 and you can get a DIY 1-1.3 watt 445nm C6 kit for about $107. If he is not out of town, He will ship the same/next day you place your order and he is located in the U.S.

I've bought numerous lasers but i have never actually built my own. I wouldn't know what exactly to do with the kit.

There are loads of threads about how to build your own laser, so if you bought a kit, it shouldnt be that hard to put together. Kits mean you dont have to source all the parts and make sure they are all compatible ie they make life even easier. With this kit you just need to get a 445 diode and if you get one from eg DTR with leads already attached and a lens at $54, all you have to do is connect the two wires. (pref by soldering - red to red, black to black and clip, isolate and ignore the white wire). This would cost you a grand total of $104 + Shipping for a 1.2 - 1.3 W 445 laser.

Alternatively check out O-LIKE for a Blue 445 and/or Green 400 mW

Dont forget your goggles and good luck!

Edit: The link I included on the SL page was for a host assembly without the laser diode and lens, as I didnt find a complete bundle offer on the SL website. If it is still offered, it would be a simpler solution.

Thanks for all the help! I messaged one of the members on here about a 445nm laser that is exactly what i'm looking for so hopefully he chooses to allow me to purchase his item. If not then I'll look into a survival lasers kit.
